Chugga Nug, AHERM, I mean, Danny, is obsessed by Greek Salad, especially in the summer. He makes a yummy one and this is his recipe. This should make a large Greek Salad.


  • 1 small cucumber
  • 1 small/medium red onion
  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • Half a jar of black olives
  • Half a pack of feta (or leave out if no one likes it – Danny has it on the side as his sisters hate it!)
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Squeeze lemon juice
  • Two teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chopped flat leaf parsley


Wash the cucumber and tomatoes then chop the cucumber into thirds, then half each third so you are left with half rounds of cucumber – it makes it easier to chop. Slice these into half centimetre slices, or however you like cucumber. Chuck it all in a salad bowl.

Next half all the tomatoes and olives and add them to the cucumber. Peel and half the onion then slice as fine as you can. Cube the feta cheese if you are using it and stir that in to the other ingredients.

Sprinkle the oregano and parsley over the salad along with salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and squeeze in the lemon. Combine all the ingredients and let it sit for five minutes before serving.
